The Antioch School participates in the FLL Brookline Lego Robotics Tournament

On December 11, 2010 The Antioch School participated in the FLL Brookline Lego Robotics Tournament at the Clay Center for Science and Technology. The Antioch School won the "Teamwork" Award and placed 6th out of 34 teams. Our Topic was Prosthetic legs and they performed a skit about a boy who needs a leg and the doctors (our students) used their research to explain the cost, and procedures that the boy would have to go through. Students were interviewed on how they programmed their robot and explained the technical parts of their program.

The Antioch School provides its students with strong academic and social skills. Students have many opportunities for creative learning through group projects. Students are taught the values of trust, sharing and self-esteem through constant reinforcement of positive behavior.
